Angela Kemp, AICP
Angie is a Planner who joined SCA from the public sector where she gained a broad understanding of quality rural land planning and land use. She earned a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from Wayne State University in Detroit and is an AICP certified planner. While the Motor City is dear to her heart, she missed having "backyard" access to public lands for backpacking, biking, and hiking with her dogs and friends. Her Colorado tenure began in 2014 as an organic farmer and florist on the Western Slope, just after completing her Undergraduate Degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability. She has a background in customer and client service with expertise in translating concepts into workable action plans, largely influenced by her years of work in event design.
